BIOGRAFI ALESANA

   alesana band yang awalnya mulai bermain bersama di baltimore,maryland, meresmikan bandnya pada bulan oktober tahun 2004 di raleigh,north california. band ini didirikan oleh shawn mike, denis lee, steven tomany dan patrick thompson. nama alesana berasal dari alice-anna st, dimana shawn mike dan patrick thompson bermain di baltimore,MD. 

    Alesana adalah band pertama yamg turut serta dalam Tragic Hero Records pada 2005, dan melepaskan debut EP mereka , Try This With Your Eyes Closed, pada Juni tahun itu. Mereka mengelilingi Amerika Serikat, termasuk pemunculan pada Cornerstone Festival, pada 2006, tambahan drummer baru dan seorang gitaris tambahan/vocalis di lineup mereka. menyusul, On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax, pada musim panas 2006. Banyak lagu diilhami dari mythology orang Yunani. pada akhir 2006 Mereka melamar ke Fearless Records, pada awal 2008, On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax di Billboard Heatseekers, mencapai puncaknya di #44. Alesana kembali ke studio untuk recording album , "Where Myth Fades To Legend." Album ini dirilis pada 3 Juni, 2008. Where Myth Fades To Legend adalah judul utama tur mereka dengan Sky Eats Airplane, Our Last Night, Lovehatehero, dan The Chariot.

              Pada tahun 2006 kelompok menambahkan drummer baru Jeremy Bryan untuk menggantikan Will Anderson dan menambahkan gitaris / vokalis Adam Ferguson ke lineup mereka. Mereka diikuti dengan album full-length, yang berjudul On Wings of Vanity and Wax, selama musim panas 2006. Pada akhir 2006 dan ditandatangani pada Fearless Records, yang merilis ulang LP pada Maret 2007 menjadi tinjauan yang beragam dan merilis sebuah video musik untuk “Ambrosia”. Pada tahun yang sama, lagu “Apology” dalam versi akustik dirilis. Kemudian pada pertengahan tahun itu, Steven Tomany meninggalkan band dan digantikan oleh Shane Crump. Band menghadiri seluruh Warped Tour 2007 dan 2010. Pada awal 2008, On Wings of Vanity and Wax di chart Billboard Heatseekers, memuncak di # 44

             Pada tahun 2008 Alesana selesai merekam album kedua mereka, “Where Myths Fades to Legend”. Album ini dirilis pada tanggal 3 Juni 2008 namun bocor pada situs torrent populer pada 25 Mei. Dimana Where Myths Fades to Legend juga judul tur mereka dengan Sky Eats Airplane,  Lovehatehero, dan The Chariot. Shane Crump baru-baru ini terungkap dalam video blog intro 4 Alesana di purevolume untuk menjadi vokalis di album baru. Semua vokal perempuan pada album band dilakukan oleh adik gitaris Shawn Milke , Melissa Milke
Pada tahun 2008 Warped Tour, Shane Crump keluar karena urusan pribadi di rumah dan Jake Campbell. menjadi mengisi sementara di-bassis. Sekembalinya Crump, Adam Ferguson dan band berpisah dan Cambell menjadi gitaris melody
Pada tahun 2009 Alesana tur pada 2009 Soundwave Festival Australia, bermain bersama; Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Chiodos, All That Remains, New Found Glory, In Flames, , Silverstein, Emery, The Dillinger Escape Plan , Anberlin dan Underoath.

            Pada akhir Februari, Shawn Milke Alesana mengumumkan telah mulai menulis materi baru untuk album mendatang mereka. Mereka mulai merekam album studio ketiga mereka, pada bulan Juli 2009, di Portland, Oregon, dengan produser Kris Crummett. Album ini, menurut Shawn Milke di TV Rave, akan berjudul “Emptiness”.Judul ” The Emptiness” juga telah dikonfirmasi dalam sebuah blog pada profil band Myspace. Band ini telah membuat kemajuan mereka di studio dapat dilihat untuk penggemar melalui account Twitter situs resmi dan dijalankan oleh band itu sendiri. dan sebuah artikel surat kabar dengan informasi utama “Alesana Meluncurkan New Story Winter ini.”

Shane Crump baru-baru ini tampak di intro ke video ke 4 Alesana di purevolume dan menjadi vocalis baru di album baru itu. Album baru mereka, 'Where Myth Fades To Legend' sudah ada di torrent pada 25 Mei, 2008 dan dilepaskan secara resmi pada 3 Juni, 2008. Seluruh vocals wanita dilakukan oleh saudara perempuan Shawn Milke.
